On December 3, students, postgraduate students and teachers of the Ivano-Frankivsk national technical university of oil and gas had a great opportunity to communicate with the native English speaker, a volunteer of the peace Corps, a graduate of Yale University – Eric Fein.
The guest is from Chicago (Illinois). In one of the most prestigious American universities, Eric Fein studied Economics, Finance and Geophysics. After his studies he worked in consulting. Eric is also a Peace Corps volunteer. This autumn he came to Ivano-Frankivsk to work for two years in the investment policy department of the Executive Committee of Ivano-Frankivsk city Council and to help the city in international cooperation projects.
The meeting seemed to be very informative to students of the Institute of Economics and Management. After all, during the lecture Eric shared his experience in business, Economics and Finance. In particular, he talked about how to properly analyze the market, considered interesting strategies for promoting new products, discussed new challenges in the business environment. The expert also considered new market opportunities for Ukraine. According to Eric Fein, many businessmen from Chicago could potentially invest in Ivano-Frankivsk. However, so far he can not say in what areas such collaboration is possible. To do this, according to Eric, you need to live in the city for a while. The expert expressed the hope that the information he distributed to the audience would be useful to them in work and study.
After the meeting with the students, the guest had an interesting tour of the University and the Science City "New Energy".
