2. Application Procedure

The University of Miskolc is responsible for the selection and official nomination of its students. The official nomination includes:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Email
  • Period of stay
  • Level of studies

The nomination email should be sent to: before providing application forms and materials, which are as follows: 

As soon as the application is approved, the signed documents will be sent back to the University of Miskolc along with the Invitation for Study, which must be submitted as a part of a visa application.

3. Visa Information

To obtain visa "D" for study you should apply to the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary. The list of necessary visa documents is as follows: visa application; valid passport; 2 photos 3 x 4 cm; document, certifying that you have paid consular fee; medical insurance (for the period of travelling to Ukraine. Additional information can be found at the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Upon you arrival you should buy medical insurance for international students and immigration insurance). Do not forget enclosing your “Invitation for study” from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. Upon receipt of visa “D” for study, do not forget to inform us about the date of your arrival to Ukraine. Within three days after arriving in Ukraine, you should submit the documents, necessary to obtain a Permit for Temporary Residence to the Passport and Visa Division of the University Centre for International Integration of Higher Education of Ukraine. 4. Medical Insurance

In Hungary you should buy medical insurance only for the period of travelling to Ukraine. Upon you arrival to Ukraine, you will be assisted in obtaining medical insurance for international students and special immigration insurance.  

5. Accomodation

Erasmus+ students are provided with a place in the student hostel (1-2 students in one room) which is located near the University campus.
